There are many theories about Affirmations. Many come from those who have not taken the time out to be consistent. (Consistency will be something I mention many times throughout my website mainly because it is the KEY to many things). Some may not fully understand the importance of SAYING DAILY AFFIRMATIONS. Affirmations allow you to be prepared for unexpected moments; Those breakdowns, when you may have lost your job, that relationship that you thought was the one, a friend/associate family member who let you down. These are all a series of unfortunate events, unpreventable. In these times some call on GOD others can call on their AFFIRMATIONS. (Even if you are choosing to do both) This is choosing to do something positive at these rough moments. Those moments we can't control.
Having Basic Affirmations is ok. WE cannot determine the how much power that moment will try to gain from us. So, when we prepare ourselves. It does not stop us from going through these moments, it just allows us to go through it more smoothly. The situation, the emotions from previous encounters, negative thoughts are all working through at that point. Gaining momentum over these things can allow you to balance these things out.
Trying to remember these things without putting in the effort or practice continuously is effort going unnoticed to self. Just as you will go to a training or a job, treat your affirmations just as such. Your affirmations can go on your wall, on your mirror or next to your bathroom mirror. Notes is a way, but it does not allow you to be consistent. Posting them around all your walls in your house, under your television. Force yourself to train if need be.
